Born in Mumbai, India, Rasika Borse is a vibrant dance educator, choreographer, and storyteller currently serving as a Lecturer of Dance at Sam Houston State University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance in 2012 and her Master of Fine Arts in Dance in 2018, blending strong academic training with a passion for performance and cultural storytelling.

Rasika is the co-founder and co-artistic director of Bollywood Signature, a Bollywood dance and performance company based in Calgary, Alberta, and the founder of RB Dance, established in Houston in 2024 to bring Bollywood and other dance styles to the local community. Her love for storytelling through movement shines in her recent evening-length production, Bollywood Express, a lively celebration of Bollywood culture and performance. Through her teaching and choreography, Rasika is dedicated to inspiring current and future dancers while educating audiences on the rich history of Indian classical dance and its lasting influence on Bollywood dance today.
