In September 2000, Bailando Dance Festival was first initiated as a part of Corpus Christi Concert Ballet's Dance Initiative, encouraging local dance studios and companies to perform works of art under the stars at the outdoor Cole Park Amphitheater in Corpus Christi, Texas.  After 25 years, Bailando has become an international dance festival and is now its own 501 (c) 3 organization. It has grown into a full weekend event featuring evening dance concerts and master classes in a variety of dance styles, all held at the sparkling Texas A&M University Corpus Christi.  Bailando has provided the South Texas community with culturally diverse works of dance performed by companies and individuals from areas throughout North and Central America!
