My Passion, Your Impact: Guest Artists & Companies

When my mentor, Nancy Sulik, and I co-founded the Bailando International Dance Festival, she told me, "We are missionaries for dance." It took me a while to fully grasp the meaning, but now I understand. We don't just put on a show; we are dedicated to cultivating and enriching our local dance community by bringing the world to the Coastal Bend. These incredible artists are the missionaries Nancy spoke of. They don't just share their amazing talents on the stage at the Saturday evening Celebration Gala—they are here to teach, inspire, and transform the lives of our local dancers. Guest artists teach master classes for local and regional dancers and provide valuable, hands-on dance instruction in Coastal Bend community schools, reaching students who might not otherwise have access to this level of expertise. You help us provide a rich and wonderful experience that would be impossible without these talented artists. They offer a global perspective that elevates the skill and passion of every participant.
