Mark Chaves, a Houston native, recieved his B.F.A from Sam Houston State University Chaves has been dancing for seventeen years with various dance styles that include breaking, house, popping, locking, jazz funk, ballet, jazz, modern and contemporary. In 2009, He placed top 16 for America's Best Dance Crew season 2 with HIStory Dance Co. In 2019, he recieved a residency to work with UTEP for "New Voices in Dance." Chaves has worked with Noble Motion Dance, Urban Souls, Nicolay Dance Works, David Deveau and Elijah Gibson as a guest artist. He is a proud husband and Co-artistic director of AMC Dance Project with his lovely wife Alexis Anderson-Chaves.
