The Haus of Glitter is dedicated to shifting the energetic center of the universe toward care, healing, justice, & freedom. Through our local, national & internationally touring artistic practice, we strive to embody ancestral liberation, healing, & love in every step + every breath. Our Dance Company is committed to preserving the histories, cultures, & pedagogies of Global & Afro-Latin Diasporic dance, music, culture & pedagogies using art as a tool for truth-telling, reimagining public spaces, & collective transformation. Our Performance Lab fosters multidisciplinary collaboration + social practice & our Preservation Society supports projects that conserve, uplift, archive & preserve underrepresented heritage spaces, historical facts & cultural lineages. Through immersive performance art, activism, & community engagement, we work to connect the individual human body to the collective human body, bringing movement beyond the stage & into the streets, homes, & institutions that shape our lived experience. Our care-centered practice aims to invite deep feeling, healing, & liberation. We don’t just want to exist. We want to live.
