Hannah Mettler is a performing artist and dance educator located in the greater Houston area. Originally from New Jersey, her love of dance began at North Jersey School of Dance Arts with training rooted in Vaganova ballet methodology and Rhythm Tap dance. After pursuing degrees in both Psychology and Dance, Hannah moved to Houston, TX to join Ad Deum Dance Company directed by Randall Flinn; performing modern dance works by Steve Rooks, Jennifer Mabus, Durell Comedy, Shizu Yasuda, Caleb Mitchell, and Randall Flinn. In addition to her performance career, Hannah is a passionate educator and has experience teaching dance in prison systems, third world countries, and collaboratively with non-profits in order to use the power of dance to connect with, and build relationships with others. Currently Ms. Mettler is pursuing her MFA in Dance at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. This is Hannah’s sixth year attending Bailando, and she is thrilled to be returning for her third year on faculty teaching Rhythm Tap!
