Carlos Nuñez is a performer, choreographer, and teacher born in the state of Veracruz. He holds a degree in Contemporary Dance from the Faculty of Dance at the Universidad Veracruzana. Collaborator and organizer of the Festival Internacional Primate Escénico. His work as a teacher, performer, and choreographer has been presented in festivals and performance platforms both within and outside the country.
In 2021, he received the PECDA Oaxaca grant. He won the PREMIOS DEL PÚBLICO 2024 with the work ENTRE CRUCES (Best Set Design - Guadalajara, Jalisco). He also received the Fomento a Proyectos y Coinversiones Culturales stimulus from the Sistema de Apoyos a la Creación y Proyectos Culturales 2023.
He collaborates as a performer and creative with the companies SpacioCero Arte-Escénico by Pedro García and Proyecto Ítaca by Beto Pérez, in addition to being the General Director of the performance initiative Proyecto Licuadora, through which he continues to share his work as an artist, manager, and producer both nationally and internationally.
